Despite her achievements, Sarah felt that there were many untold stories that she wanted to share with the world. She was inspired by the power of words to touch people’s lives and wanted to use her own experiences to inspire others. That’s why she enrolled in HKBU’s Creative and Professional Writing Programme – to hone her writing skills and to pursue her long-standing dream of writing a memoir about her life.

At the Creative and Professional Writing Programme, Sarah develops her voice and craft. She learned how to structure her story, convey emotion, and create a compelling narrative that would resonate with readers.

Through her sharing, we’ll also showcase the breadth of the course and how it can help students achieve various writing goals.
